History

Dreamscapes was born in 1992. Having studied architecture for 4 years I began to see a disconnect between the man made and natural worlds. It bothered me that you could take a beautifully designed building and ruin it by sticking it in a boring landscape yet you could take any old shack and turn it into an alluring and special place by placing it in a lush landscape. I saw the need for landscapes that worked with and enhanced architectural designs that where conceived without regard for the place where they where going to be built. I started Dreamscapes for this purpose and have worked on many estates in Hawaii and a beautiful 306 acre estate in Massachusetts before moving to Ventura California where I have had the pleasure of continuing my work. Dreamscapes is a successful but small company that offers personalized landscape design and installation and I intend to keep it that way.

Philosphy

I frequently call my work organic estate design because I believe in incorporating natural non-toxic solutions, native plants, and low maintenance into my designs where ever possible. With a penchant for creativity and the technical knowledge to effectively and efficiently build my creations I have been able to satisfy and often exceed my clients expectations.
